1. Non consenting data processing
Personal data will only be processed by us in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. If you correspond with us or fill in a form on our website with data, please note that the data you provide in the respective form will be processed for the purposes described below.
E-MAIL & INQUIRY FORM
If you send us an e-mail to info@contorautomation.com or send us an enquiry using the form on the website, the data you provide will be electronically processed to process your enquiry and stored for further enquiries. We will not pass on your data to third parties without your consent.
If you send an inquiry to one of our partners via our website, the privacy policy of the respective sales partner and country applies.
Justification:The data processing is based on our legitimate interest in being able to process your individual inquiries and answer them reliably.
Storage period: Your personal data is stored for up to two years.
CONTRACTUAL DATA
If you send an enquiry via our website, we process your personal data electronically for the purpose of fulfilling pre-contractual measures and contractual obligations via our Internet offer as well as data required for the fulfilment of the contract. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. There will be no data transmission to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing bank institutes / payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax consultant for the fulfilment of our tax obligations.
Justification:The data processing is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures on your request.
Duration of storage:The data collected in the course of the fulfilment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures will be stored for up to 7 years. Your name, your address as well as the purchased goods and the date of purchase are stored for 10 years until the expiry of the product liability.
2. Data processing operations requiring consent
COOKIES
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.
We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised by deleting the last 8 bits. Thus only a rough localization is possible. The relationship with the web analysis provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission ("Privacy Shield").

HOTJAR
Our website uses functions of the web service Hotjar, operated by Hotjar Ltd, a European company based in Malta. Hotjar uses cookies. The information thus generated about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Hotjar server and stored there.
We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing.
Your IP address is recorded pseudonymously, so that only a rough localisation (the country from which you are accessing) is possible.

CONSENT TO DATA PROCESSING OF SENSITIVE DATA CONTAINED IN APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
Please do not provide us with sensitive data, such as personal information about your racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, in the documents you upload and provide to us. Furthermore, we do not ask you to provide genetic, biometric or health data or data concerning the sex life or sexual orientation of a natural person or the sexual orientation of a natural person. Should you nevertheless provide such sensitive data, you expressly consent to the processing of such data for the purposes of application and recruitment by us.
You can revoke your consent at any time.
Justification:The data processing is based on your explicit consent.
Storage period:Your personal data is stored until the end of the application process plus six months.
3. Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, pictures, articles etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if you had visited the other website.
These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking services and record your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content.

If you would like to know whether and what data we have collected from you, or if you would like your data to be deleted, write us an e-mail to info@contorautomation.com (subject: request for data information/ data deletion) and we will send you the data immediately or delete the corresponding data immediately. This does not include the data that we have to keep due to administrative, legal or security-related necessities.
