SIGNAL LIGHTS ARE THE BEST WAY TO REGULATE ACCESS TO SHOPS
SIGNALLING DEVICES FROM AUER SIGNAL EFFICIENTLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS.
After a complete lockdown, shops and shopping centres are finally open again. However, the regulations for opening are strict. In order to keep the risk of infection with COVID19 as low as possible and to protect both employees and customers, a mandatory safety distance must be guaranteed in the shops. This makes it necessary to limit the number of customers in the premises.
One person per ten square metres of sales space
Currently, the restriction in business premises is one person per ten square metres of sales area. In order to comply with this legal requirement, different entry processes are applied: In some shops, customers are obliged to take a shopping trolley when entering to ensure the distance. Others rely on "counting". Employees count the customers and only allow a certain number to enter. Both methods are labour-intensive and therefore expensive.
Efficient access control via traffic light system
The most efficient and best solution to comply with regulations is access control systems.
The Half Dome and Eco Module signal towers offer an efficient solution for access control. These signal towers use a traffic light system to indicate to customers whether they are allowed to enter the shop or not. The signal towers can be mounted on a tube in front of the shop or on the wall next to the entrance.
The XIB Identification plate can additionally be used to indicate how many people in total are allowed to enter the shop. However, the board can also be used for other current announcements in connection with the access regulations.
